About Maui Vista
Maui Vista is a condominium complex managed by the Maui Vista Association of Apartment Owners. The AOAO is a non-profit association dedicated to serving the needs of owners. All units are privately owned.
The complex covers just under 9 acres. There are a total of 280 apartments in three separate buildings. Each building has a swimming pool, barbecue, and two tennis courts. One court at each building is dual striped for Pickleball. The rest of the site has beautiful landscaping and one free parking space for every unit. Additional parking spaces are available for a modest fee.
Each building has four stories and two wings that are perpendicular to each other. An elevator is located where the wings meet. Floors 1, 2 and 3 have 1-bedroom apartments, typically 588 sq ft interior space (55 sq meters) plus private lanai. The fourth floor in each building has 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom units, typically 822 sq ft interior space (76 sq meters) plus private lanai. All units have ocean and/or garden views.
All units are identified by a four-digit number. The first digit is the building number (1, 2 or 3). The second digit is the floor number (1, 2, 3 or 4). The last two digits are the unit number. For example, unit 2418 is apartment 18 on the fourth floor of building 2.
The Maui Vista Office is located on the first floor of Building 1 at the end of the walkway between the parking lot and the building. This is where you register and get a parking permit. See aerial photo.
Maui has often been voted the best island in the world. Charley Young Beach, across the street from Maui Vista, is one of the best beaches on Maui. Average daytime temperatures in Kihei range from roughly 66 to 80 degrees in the winter (19-27 C) and 73 to 86 degrees in the summer (23-30 C). Individual days may be warmer or cooler.
Our sunny south shore features warm balmy days and cool tropical nights. Humidity is generally low and the average annual rainfall is less than 12 inches (30 mm). White sandy beaches and clear water grace our shoreline. Take long walks next to the Pacific or dive or snorkel in the ocean. Modern shopping and restaurants are also conveniently located near the condominiums, many within a 10-minute walk.
