There are three grocery stores in Kihei. The closest is Foodland, which is a half mile north on South Kihei Road. The Times Market is also on South Kihei Road, about 1.75 from Maui Vista. The largest store is Safeway, about 2.5 miles from Maui Vista just off the Piilani Highway at Pi’ikea Avenue.

The ABC Store and Hawaiian Moons, a short walk to the south, have more limited selections, but some specialty items as well.

Kahalui has a Costco, Walmart, Target, another large Safeway, and various specialty shops. They are about 13 miles away.
