A trash chute is located next to the elevator on floors 2, 3, and 4 in each building. Large items, and trash from the first floor, should be deposited in the dumpster located behind the elevator.

Trash chutes and dumpster rooms are open from 8 AM until 9:30 PM. At night, and in the early morning hours, trash can be deposited in the garbage cans next to the grills.

Four clearly labeled recycling bins sit adjacent to the dumpster room at each building. Glass, aluminum cans and plastic bottles can be deposited in the bins. Paper and cardboard are not recycled at Maui Vista.

Recycling drop-off for cardboard, newspaper, glass, #1 & #2 plastic bottles, aluminum and tin cans is available at Kihei Recycling and Redemption Center located on East Welakahao Road, at Piilani Hwy
