From Kahului, follow the highway signs to Kihei / Wailea. This will take you west across the flat lowlands between Mount Haleakala and the West Maui Mountains to the Pi’ilani Hwy. Travel south on the Pi’ilani Hwy, still following signs to Kihei / Wailea, for about 4.5 miles. Turn right at Kanani or Alanui Ke Ali’i – the fourth and fifth stop lights on the Pi’ilani Hwy. (See map below.) The Kanani option is slightly shorter but requires two left turns across traffic on S Kihei Rd. Depending on which way you go, turn left or right at the bottom of the hill. Maui Vista is at 2191 South Kihei Road.

If you arrive during the day, pull into the check-in area to the right of the oval. The Maui Vista (AOAO) office is immediately to the right. There you can register, get a parking pass, and receive helpful information.
